Charging Station Installation & Maintenance Technician
Job overview
EVsafe is hiring field technicians responsible for installing, operating and maintaining AC e-motorbike charging stations (1-3kW/port) and multi-port charging cabinets (5-20+ ports/site) for apartments, schools, offices, industrial parks, F&B chains, gas stations and other B2B partners. You will receive thorough training on EVsafe products, the OCPP 1.6/2.0.1 protocol, the IEC 61851 electrical safety standard and standard technical procedures. Allowances: travel allowance, lunch, phone, uniform and full protective equipment. Bonus for projects completed on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Survey the site of parking areas/apartments/offices, measure the electrical load and advise on a suitable motorbike charging cabinet layout
- Install electrical cabinets, run wiring, connect multiple charging ports (5-20+ ports) and configure the charging station software per EVsafe technical standards
- Test, hand over and guide the management board/customer on use after installation
- Perform periodic maintenance, electrical safety checks and on-site troubleshooting
- Update firmware, OCPP configurations and technical changes as required
- Record work minutes, technical reports and hand over documentation to the manager
- Strictly comply with labor safety and electrical safety regulations
Job requirements
Education
Vocational/College/University degree in Electrical, Electrical-Electronics, Automation or Mechatronics
Experience
At least 1 year of industrial/residential electrical construction experience; experience installing e-motorbike charging cabinets, EV charging stations or solar systems is preferred
Skills
Able to read electrical drawings, use measuring meters and electrical tools; understanding of CB, RCBO and grounding
Certificates
Holding an electrical safety certificate and a B2 driver's license is an advantage
Physical
Good health, willing to travel to provinces and work outdoors
