The eRoaming OCPI technology operates based on an open API connection mechanism directly between charging station management systems (Backend-to-Backend).
The eRoaming OCPI system of EVsafe assumes 4 core functional groups:
- Synchronization of Location & Status: Updates the location of charging stations, and the status of charging ports being available or occupied in real-time.
- Synchronization of Price List: Automatically sends information on electricity consumption prices and parking fees.
- Session Management: Initiates, stops charging, and automatically generates a detailed record (CDR).
- Financial Reconciliation: Automatically calculates costs between CPO operators and eMSP service applications.
